就在大前天晚上7点30分，一场大火彻底摧毁了悉尼Hunters Hill的一栋豪宅。

据信业主目前正在海外旅行，当时没有人在家。

因为火实在太大了，不少邻居都担心会烧到自己家，纷纷抱着值钱的东西四散奔逃。

附近邻居说，他们听到了<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">木屋和车库发出的爆炸声。



事故原因还在调查中，但据现场居民反应，他们闻到了浓重的煤气味，大火和爆炸很有可能是由于<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">煤气泄露导致的。



邻居Nicole Kleijn说：

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">“我先是闻到了很浓的煤气味，然后我抬起头，看到邻居家的棕榈树着火了，我还听到某种巨大的嗖嗖声，就像爆炸一样！”


街上的另一名居民表示，她可以看到<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">房屋两层楼顶上方的火焰升起。

一位邻居说，当他看到灰烬落入他的后院游泳池时，他正在吃晚餐。

他说：“最初我们以为这些灰烬是从我们自家来的，但后来发现是邻居家里火光冲天。”

消防人员花了一个多小时来灭火，但是这所豪宅还是被大火摧毁了。

<strong style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color:transparent; box-sizing:border-box; font-weight:700">“火太大了，几分钟内就烧到整个房子。房子已经完全毁了，没有什么可以留下的。”

他们正在调查，这场火灾究竟是车库爆炸引发的，还是煤气泄露引发的。
